TORONTO, June 11, 2012 /CNW/ - SiriusXM Canada (TSX: XSR), the country's leading audio entertainment company, today announced a series of live broadcasts direct from NXNE, one of Canada's most anticipated music and arts festivals featuring both emerging artists and major-label headliners. This is SiriusXM's 7^th consecutive year of support for the festival and the latest example of how SiriusXM helps Canadian artists reach music fans in both Canada and the U.S.

On Friday, June 15, SiriusXM will broadcast live from Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto on Sirius channel 151 and XM channel 151 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. ET. The broadcast will feature performances from Plants & Animals, Eight and a Half and Matthew Good.

On Saturday, June 16, SiriusXM will broadcast live from Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. on Sirius channels 151, 152 and XM channel 151. The broadcast will feature performances from Poor Young Things, Lumineers, Young Empires and Catl. A highly anticipated special guest performance at 10:00 p.m. will also be featured.
