This technology platform is specifically designed for both prescription and over-the-counter drugs. NovaDel is currently focused on developing its 6 Tier I priority lingual spray products and submitted its first New Drug Application (NDA) in June of 2004.
NovaDel's proprietary technology achieves rapid delivery of drugs to the bloodstream, resulting in rapid onset of action at substantially lower doses. NovaDel has secured a strong patent position, with 5 patents issued in the United States, 4 patents issued in the European Union, and a total of 28 patent applications globally. This patent protection covers the technology, therapeutic areas, and products. Also, our regulatory strategy facilitates a greatly shortened development time frame of approximately 2 to 3 1/2 years to submission.
